Master Dhiraj Gurung
Meet our founder and Chief Instructor, Master Dhiraj Gurung. He is a highly respected 6th Dan Black Belt, fully certified by both Kukkiwon (World Taekwondo Headquarters) and the British Taekwondo Organisation. As a Registered Lead Examiner for British Taekwondo, Master Gurung is entrusted with upholding the highest national standards of the art, ensuring every student at Wisdom Taekwondo receives authentic, expert instruction.
Master Gurung founded Wisdom Taekwondo in 2007 after retiring from a distinguished career with the British Gurkha Regiment (The 1st Gurkha Rifles). He brings the core Gurkha values of discipline, integrity, and respect to his teaching philosophy. Based in Farnborough, Wisdom Taekwondo is a proud member of British Taekwondo, the UK’s National Governing Body, connecting our students to the wider Taekwondo community.
